The ballast bypass solution is perfect for long term installation; no need to go back and replace the ballast at a later time thus reducing maintenance costs. Type B lamps offer the best system efficiency; no additional power consumption is drawn from the ballast. The double-ended technology can operate with shunted and non-shunted sockets.
