STANDARD Illuminates Brick for Brick Campaign

On January 24th, 2016 Habitat for Humanity Canada built a life-size home made of 35,000 MEGA BLOKS at the Interior Design Show in Toronto. STANDARD was the proud lighting partner for this campaign with a donation of 8 LED vapor tight luminaires to light the house.

Through the Brick for Brick initiative, Habitat Canada hopes to promote awareness of (about) the issue of affordable homeownership and drive donations to this cause. When you donate, you are pledging a “virtual” brick, which helps Habitat Canada buy real bricks. In turn, those bricks build a home.

In 2016, STANDARD Products proudly announced its new partnership agreement with Habitat for Humanity Canada. As the new national corporate sponsor for lighting, STANDARD will provide lighting needs for each of the 250 homes that Habitat for Humanity will be building in 2016 across Canada. STANDARD will also be sponsoring three build days.
