STANDARD is proud to partner the LocalMTL collective as well as the Village au Pied-du-Courant to which it contributed free lighting for the creative garage of the 2017 ephemeral village.
Members of the LocalMTL collective have been working diligently on the concept, development and construction of the garage for the 2017 Village au Pied-du-Courant. This creative workshop will host arts and crafts, conferences, exhibits and other marvels throughout this summer. The facility is decorated with lovely plant arrangements supplied by Jardin de Mathilde and also boasts an unusual display of crickets called Insecto, ferme de grillons urbain. This brainchild of Wanda Darcy and Elena Radeva hopes to promote local culture in Montréal.
“STANDARD is quite proud of its involvement in Montréal’s local culture, and pleased to support the Village au Pied-du-Courant, an event that focuses on the talent and innovative spirit of Montréal’s youth population.” Jason Prévost, V.-P., Marketing.
Visitors will have occasion to admire the lovely filament lamp lighting system. These elegant Victorian-style lamps bring a touch a class and warmth to the garage of the Village au Pied-du-Courant. STANDARD has also supplied two outdoor projector luminaires that highlight the outdoor billboards at night.
Visit the Village au Pied-du-Courant until September 16, 2017 and take advantage of all it has to offer.
