For the first edition of Building a Brighter Community Together, STANDARD collected $22,800 on April 20th for the construction of three new homes in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity Canada.

Building a brighter community

STANDARD is a proud corporate sponsor of Habitat for Humanity, and is honored to sponsor and participate in three build days across Canada. These build days will focus on constructing three new homes for low income, hard-working families in each of the Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal areas.

Be a Partner in Something Big

In Canada, over 4 million people live in substandard housing, and 1 in 7 children lives in poverty. STANDARD strongly believes in Habitat for Humanity Canada’s vision as it works to build a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. In light of this initiative, we will donate a percentage of our sales on April 20, 2016 towards building homes with Habitat for Humanity Canada. We encourage our community to support this day. Your actions determine the success of our gesture. Every customer who participates and purchases $5,000 or more on the Building a brighter community together day will be recognized for her/his support and will be mentioned via our social networks.
