WHAT IS POLYVIE?

PolyVie is an innovative recycling program developed by Polykar, a Canadian leader in sustainable packaging. The goal is to transform soft plastic waste from local businesses into new recycled plastic bags, reducing landfill waste and supporting a true circular economy.

The program has achieved an impressive 96% recycling rate.

STANPRO’S ROLE

As part of the PolyVie initiative, Stanpro provides its soft plastic waste directly to Polykar, allowing them to produce recycled materials without sourcing new plastic.

• Less waste sent to landfill
• More locally recycled material
• Stronger Canadian manufacturing partnerships

From October 2024 to November 2025, our participation helped recover 41 gaylords of soft plastics. That’s the same volume as:

• Approximately 61.5 m³ of material
• 360 bathtubs
• 123 refrigerators
• Or about 9 packed African elephants

Together, we are helping build a cleaner, more sustainable future for generations to come.
