WHAT IS POLYVIE?
PolyVie is an innovative recycling program developed by Polykar, a Canadian leader in sustainable packaging.
The goal is to transform soft plastic waste from local businesses into new recycled plastic bags, reducing landfill waste and supporting a true circular economy.

The program has achieved an impressive 96% recycling rate
STANPRO’S ROLE
As part of the PolyVie initiative, Stanpro provides its soft plastic waste directly to Polykar, allowing them to produce recycled materials without sourcing new plastic.

From October 2024 to November 2025, our participation helped recover 41 gaylords of soft plastics. That’s the same volume as:
- Approximately 61.5 m³ of material
- 360 bathtubs
- 123 refrigerators
- Or about 9 packed African elephants
