Stanpro provided the lighting for a new trilingual elementary school in the community of La Baie, on the premises of the former Georges-Vanier
school that had been closed for eight years. Renovation of the school falls within the principles of a modern concept known as “the millennium”. The
selected lighting systems meet these principles completely.
In all the classrooms, lighting was carefully selected to harmonize with the design and use of each space.
Classrooms
We fitted the body break rooms with LED filament lamps to create a warm and inviting space while providing energy savings.
In another classroom, LED strip lights were installed side by side – a more classic approach – while strip lights were installed zig-zag fashion to create
an amusing and lively atmosphere for the children.
Another room was fitted with a large, luminous, translucent panel that takes up almost the entire ceiling space. LED strip lights were also installed under
this panel to mirror a circle effect.
In all the classrooms, lighting was carefully selected to harmonize with the design and use of each space.
