Mont-Saint-Sacrement High School is a private school located in St-Gabriel de Valcartier, in the greater Quebec region where the school foundation raises funds to improve the school facilities.

During this transformation, the school decided to renovate the 2 gymnasiums, bringing them both up to date and to also improve the original, and dated lighting system.
The small gym was equipped with 18 400W metal halide high bay fixtures but after calculating their true needs, Standard’s team proposed 12 ECO LED high bays consuming only 162W each.
As for the big gym, a 1 for 1 replacement was performed, taking down 18 400W metal halide high bay fixtures and replacing them with 18 162W ECO LED high bays.

  • Significant reduction of energy consumption
  • Serious improvement of lighting quality

After the transformation was successfully done, a badminton tournament was taking place at the school’s gymnasiums and the lighting improvement was clear! It was also noted that it produced less glare than the original fixtures.
