EFC Corporate Social Responsibility Award
This award recognizes exemplary care in voluntarily improving the quality of life of the community and society-at-large in two distinct categories.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Award recognizes the organization that best demonstrates leadership, commitment to action, and real-world social impact across its business. The judges seek a high performing organization that has evidenced its influence on surrounding communities, promoted teamwork toward sustainable, long-term impacts and encouraged active employee participation beyond mere financial contributions. This award is measured against three pillars of Corporate Social Responsibility: People, Planet, Profit.
- People: The Social/Philanthropy Pillar
- Planet: The Environmental Pillar
- Profit: The Economic Pillar
STANDARD was nominated for its annual Donation Day 2015, for its partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada as National Corporate Sponsor, for its Christmas Toy Drives, for its support of veterans on Remembrance Day, and for its recycling initiatives.
Thank you to everyone one who takes part in creating a better working and living environment at STANDARD!
