STANDARD awards a $3,500 scholarship each year to a Canadian university that has demonstrates academic excellence, or to a college student who has completed two years of studies in the field of business administration and commerce, and has maintained a minimum cumulative average of 80%.
This year, STANDARD is pleased to announce that it recognizes the hard work of Kurtis Beaumontfrom Delta, British Columbia. Kurtis is currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), specializing in Accounting at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University; he hopes to complete his studies by the end of 2017. Kurtis expresses his gratitude toward STANDARD and acknowledges the EFC recognition:“More than just funding students, this program is an opportunity to promote our industry in every Canadian university and college, and showcase the electrical industry as a viable career choice.
