STANDARD Donation Day 2015
We are proud to announce that December 3, 2015 is our Donation Day. We encourage our customers and employees to support this day as your actions determine the success of our gesture.
Since 1999, STANDARD has actively donated to various national and regional community organizations through Donation Day. It all started when one of our employees was challenged with breast cancer. We wanted to show our support by donating to something Cancer research and, from there it grew bigger and become Donation Day.
Since 2004, STANDARD has given 400 000$ to many charities such as hospitals, children’s charities, health related research for Alzheimer’s, cystic fibrosis, heart and stroke diseases, as well as organizations that support the less fortunate, the homeless and family support groups, etc.
Participating in improving the quality of life for people in need is part of the philosophy that is the foundation of STANDARD’s values. We are proud to be part of helping the less fortunate and it’s our tradition to appoint a day where a percentage of our sales will be remitted to this cause.
