For the seventh year running, we are proud to contribute to the Electro-Federation Canada scholarship program, which fosters innovation and academic excellence across Canada.
The EFC Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students pursuing post-secondary studies in fields related to the electrical industry. This includes a broad range of disciplines such as electrical engineering, electrical technology, industrial distribution, finance, marketing, logistics, and more. By supporting students in these fields, we aim to nurture the next generation of innovators and leaders who will drive the electrical industry forward.
This year, we are pleased to offer a $3,500 scholarship to Zachary J. Levesque!
We are proud to introduce Zachary J. Levesque is from the University of Ottawa and as the recipient of the 2024 Ascot Excellence Scholarship. Zachary is pursuing a double major in Electrical Engineering and Physics, where he hopes to develop both the technical expertise and analytical skills needed to excel in these highly complex fields. Through his studies, Zachary aspires to contribute to technological advancements that drive sustainability and innovation in the electrical industry.
“Receiving this scholarship is an incredible opportunity,” Zachary shared. “It allows me to focus more on my education and research, particularly in areas like renewable energy and smart grid technologies. This scholarship will greatly support my goal of making meaningful contributions to the future of Canada’s electrical industry.”
Zachary’s dedication to academic excellence and his passion for solving real-world problems make him a standout candidate. During his time at university, he has already been involved in several impactful projects, including developing assistive technology for individuals with disabilities. His determination to combine innovation with positive social impact perfectly aligns with the values of this scholarship program.
