The owners of the Guardian Pharmacy in Brampton, Ontario wanted to update the look of the lighting system to create a better ambiance.
The pharmacy was lit with 2 x 4 troffer fixtures with four T8 lamps per fixture. But the owner was only using two out of the four lamps because the original output was too bright and caused headaches. The pharmacy didn’t look its best!
Our lighting specialist suggested replacing the traditional lighting fixtures with square 2 x 2 LED Panels. Additional half tiles were added to cover the hole left by the previous fixture. The luminaires now aligned nicely in the pharmacy aisles. The look of the ceiling is now sleek and modern and the ambiance is softer with the 3500 K colour temperature.
In addition to the new look, the STANDARD team completed the appropriate documents allowing the pharmacy to benefit from a 50% rebate from Ontario public utilities, and a return on investment (ROI) of 0.56 years.
The owner is so happy with the result that he has recommended STANDARD to other colleagues in Brampton.
