COMPACT FLUORESCENT LAMP APPLICATIONS

	HARD TO REACH AREAS With an average life between 8000 and 25 000 hours, STANDARD CFL lamps are ideal for areas that are hard to reach because they considerably reduce the number of re-lamping over the years allowing for significant savings.			DECORATIVE APPLICATIONS STANDARD offers a wide variety of decorative lamps that are similar to incandescent lamps in terms of shape and size. Our globe, candle and A-shape type of lamps are ideal when the light source is exposed.
	SPECIALTY LIGHTING The trilight spiral lamp provides three intensities of light: 13, 20, 25 watts which are equivalent to incandescent lamps of 60, 75 and 100 watts. Trilight table lamps are still very common in hotels and residences.			DIMMABLE APPLICATIONS STANDARD offers 3 types of CFL lamps that can be used on dimming circuits. In pendant fixtures, track light, enclosed or exposed. Also available is a complete line of Cold Cathode lamps that are dimmable.
	ENCLOSED FIXTURES STANDARD’s High Power Factor (HPF) and GU24 based lamps as well as a selection of other spirals and decorative lamps, are suitable for use in totally enclosed fixtures. Allowing for energy and cost savings where most CFL lamps are not typically used.			DOWNLIGHT STANDARD offers a PAR38 18 watt CCFL lamp which replaces a 75 watt halogen PAR38 while lasting 10 times longer. Cold cathodes provide a clear advantage over traditional directional lighting with their cooler operation.
	OUTDOOR LIGHTING Most of STANDARD CFL lamps are made of amalgam which means that they maintain an excellent light output over a wider range of temperatures. Look for our selection of decorative and reflector lamps that are suitable for use in outdoor applications.			ENERGY STAR APPROVED FIXTURES STANDARD carries a selection of GU24 based spirals designed to be used in ENERGY STAR approved fixtures. Many provincial utilities as well as government bodies favor and provide incentives for the use of the fixtures and the lamps.
	SMALL FIXTURES STANDARD offers a NEW generation of T2 lamps with super mini size that fits most fixtures. Their design allows for more solidity, extra brightness and very long life.			FLASHING APPLICATIONS STANDARD cold cathodes lamps are ideal for rapid cycling applications such as frequent on-off switching and dimming without impacting their 25 000 hours average life.
