Job description
Major Canadian Lighting Distributor and Manufacturer with offices across Canada is seeking to fill the position of Warehouse manager for its Port Coquitlam, BC office.
Conditions
College degree or certificate in business/logistics/related field, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position. You must have a good knowledge of MS Office and a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with SAP is definitely an asset.
The ideal candidate has strong multi tasking skills and is RESULTS driven. The successful candidate is CUSTOMER FOCUSED, and an Excellent TEAM player

Responsabilities
As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the complete management of all inbound and outbound distribution processes. You will deliver high levels of customer service through effective resource planning, efficient storage, receiving, pick/pack, and shipping processes, while ensuring all safety and quality goals are achieved.
Responsibilities • Assist in developing strategic plans that drive performance improvements and cost savings through first class distribution processes. • Monitor and report upon key metrics to ensure productivity targets are achieved. • Ensure all shipping deadlines are met. • Plan workforce needs, recruit, hire, and supervise employees. • Develop and coach personnel on processes, procedures and policies. • Ensure all Provincial and Federal Health and Safety standard/regulations are met with regards to the facilities, equipment and personnel training requirements.
